Dead Spot

Nobody asked but ...

Peter Suderman writes at Reason ( that one specific video game occupies users in what amounts to 48 million person hours per day.  If, at the height of US slaveholding, there were 3 million slaves, and they were forced to work 16 hours per day per person, we are talking 48 million person hours per day cast into the oubliette of lost opportunity.  One game accounts for 100% of that number.
